Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended Sunday down by 0.27 percent, closing at 12,069.82 points. The trading turnover reached SR4.21 billion ($1.12 billion), with 119 stocks advancing and 106 declining.
The Nomu parallel market gained 48.69 points, closing at 31,054.38, while the MSCI Tadawul Index declined by 0.48 percent to 1,509.84.
Top gainers included Saudi Reinsurance Co., surging 9.94 percent, and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co., which rose by 8.44 percent. Riyadh Cables Group Co. also performed well with a 6.34 percent increase. On the losing end, National Medical Care Co. fell by 3.49 percent, along with notable declines for Emaar The Economic City and the Power and Water Utility Co.
In corporate updates, Al-Yamamah Steel Industries Co. secured a SR97.5 million contract to supply steel towers for a high-voltage transmission line project, boosting its shares by 6.25 percent.
Saudi Industrial Development Co.'s subsidiary, Sleep High, obtained a SR9 million Shariah-compliant credit facility, while Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. signed a collaboration deal with Libya for water and pipe projects, pushing its shares up by 1.90 percent.
United International Holding Co. extended its memorandum with Nowpay Corp. for payroll solutions, with an investment of SR75 million. Meanwhile, National Gypsum Co. signed an Islamic financing agreement worth SR35 million to expand its operations.
